We want to make the best blue corn products the world has ever tasted using unique ingredients that tell a story that we can be proud of.

Some of our tortillas are made thinner, then hand-cut and kettle fried in the highest quality locally sourced oil we could find. Colorado Mills fulfills the role of providing us with local high-oleic sunflower oil which we find better suited for cooking due to its favorable characteristics.

After cooking, we spin the chips to release the oil and give them the right texture that makes them most unique.

Finally, our chips are seasoned with a mixture of sea salt, from the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii, and bamboo extract, adding another layer of uniqueness to our product.

      Stefan Gomez - Blue Corn Ambassador

      Stefan Gomez hails from the border town of Tijuana where he grew up eating the best tacos in the world, or so he claims. Nevertheless he was always intrigued by the wide varieties, particularly the blue and purple varieties, of corn native to the lands of his ancestors. After discovering the unique minerals and properties of blue corn, he became obsessed with bringing this authentic local food back to life in Colorado. After experimenting in the kitchen, he sought out tortilla specialists who could help combine the idea of sourcing local ingredients with passion and skill for crafting food in a traditional way. Stefan never compromises on this and always seeks and places value on quality over everything else.
